Many wished me a happy new year. I also wished many. However new year didn't start in a happy note for me.
Couple of days back, wife declared- washing machine stopped working. I tried usual tricks. Switched off/on, pressed multiple buttons together, bang on the side of the machine. It didn't work. It happily takes water in but refuses to drain out.
Called the Godrej smartcare. Giving my mobile... number they confirmed mine as well as my cute machines bio data. Got sms from them giving me a secret code to divulge to service engineer only if i am fully satisfied.
Service engr lands up 15 mins ahead of schedule time. Identifies that the fuse of the drain motor had blown. Replaces the fuse, vanishes from the scene after collecting service charges and the secret code to earn brownie points. All done in 10 mins.
We are happy. Washing resumes at home in full swing with no outage.
Happy to see that some of them are doing well in cust service. Many others have to learn from them. I had a horrendous experience from my DTH provider a month back. I will not write anything abt that here as socially unacceptable words will sure to come out. I shall wait for that for the right forum.
